Houndmath publishes general reference information and calculators. Using this site does not create a veterinary-client-patient relationship. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a substitute for examination by a licensed veterinarian who can see the animal in front of them.

Accuracy

The formulae used are published veterinary ones and their sources and limitations are set out on the method page. Even so, outputs are estimates that carry real uncertainty, and reference figures adapted from third-party sources may contain errors. The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

Your responsibility

Decisions about an animal's food, weight, water or care are yours and your vet's. You agree that you use the outputs of this site at your own risk and that Houndmath is not liable for any loss arising from that use, to the extent permitted by law.
